Renovation of this bath proved to be a challenge. It quickly became learning by doing since
we had no experience with the kind of damage that had taken place and the type of
materials involved. Massive water damage caused by a defective shower stall had
washed out part of the floor and the natural clay walls. It quickly became evident that
we had no choice but to use drywall construction to rebuild the room. The pictures
here document those efforts over a time period of roughly 6 months.
